If you use two or more instant messenger services, I would highly suggest either QNext or eBuddy, which each allow you to sign into multiple IM systems simultanneously. Making them several programs in one, basically ... which frees up your system resources to do other things. Another good point for eBuddy is that it is web based, so there is no software to install ... and you can use it from any computer.
