Residents of Coleorton, a village in Leicestershire, England, are being terrorized by a buzzard that swoops down and attacks people almost on a daily basis. The Brits’ crime? Existing.

The bird has caused injuries, including leaving deep cuts on one man’s head and knocking a cyclist off their bike. Fear of the bird has prompted parents to ban their children from walking along the footpath near its nest.

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) states the buzzard is likely breeding and reacting instinctively to defend its nest. Their advice to the public is to avoid the immediate area and take alternative routes. So basically just don’t go outside.

Of course, the buzzard will probably stop eventually. It’s only been attacking people since 2020!

Maybe part of their master strategy to take over the world is to trap us all inside. It’s unusual warfare. But it’s also an unusual war.
