How To: Absurd Scientific Advice for Common Real-World Problems by Randall Munroe

This is my third Randall Munroe book that I’ve listened to on Audible. The first two were “What If?” and “What If? 2.” This was just as enjoyable as the two previous ones.
In summary, imagine you had to do … something. Like dig a hole, for example. This book actually has a chapter on “how to dig a hole.” Except this book takes the long way ’round almost any endeavor. It’s never so simple as “put shovel in ground, remove dirt.” It always seems to involve plutonium. Or something.
I feel like I’m not explaining this well. Because while the previous paragraph may come across as a complaint, it most assuredly isn’t. I 100% want to know how to dig a hole with plutonium. And without this book, I’d have had no clue.
Oh! And it’s narrated by Wil Wheaton. Which just adds to the coolness of it all.
I’m not sure this book would be everyone’s cup of tea. But if your kind of nerdy and like to know random things, I think it’d be in your wheelhouse.
