an occasional update from me, Scott Leffler

News: One main point to get across today …

I wanted to make sure everyone knew that WLVL and WECK will be simulcasting election coverage tonight beginning at 9 p.m.

I’ll be anchoring the coverage and Tom Christy will be co-hosting. For a list of the races we’ll be updating and discussing, click here.

I’ve scheduled interviews with Dennis Ward, Democratic Election Commissioner of Erie County and Scott Kiedrowski, Republican Election Commissioner of Niagara County, plus several of the candidates in several of the key races.

In addition to the live broadcast, I’ll also be LiveBlogging along with several of the writers of WNYMedia.net. The LiveBlog will start right at 9:00 and will be available on the blog at scottleffler.com.

This morning, Marc Odien of WNYMedia.net will join me on Reason at 10 a.m. to discuss their endorsements.

For an election wrapup, be sure to listen to Reason tomorrow on air at AM 1230 … or online at weck1230.com. Tomorrow’s Dialog will have the Niagara County Historical Society as guests, so if you want to talk politics, it’ll need to be on WECK.

Finally … don’t forget to vote today. And make sure you know WHERE to vote, as many polling sites have changed. Check the Niagara County Board of Elections website at http://elections.niagara.ny.us for a sample ballot and to make sure of your polling place.
