Hey all.

For some reason or another, people actually read this. I’ve yet to really figure out why, but …

I don’t have much to say today, but thought I’d check in and let you all know that I’m alive.

I went out with Jasper last night. We went to the Icon in Buffalo to check out a band. Ended up checking out two of ’em. They were both very good. I apprecieted the invite and that they took care of my cover. I’ve never been to a bar before where I was on “the list.” You know when you go someplace and there’s always some pretentios looking person going – “I’m supposed to be one the list!” Well, I was that person … minus the pretentiousness.

Anyway, Left of Oblivion and Standard of Living … both very good local bands. By local I mean Buffalo. Some in Lockport might not call that local, but we are all in this together in WNY. Buffalo is one of us fo sho!

Speaking of local bands, Jasper and I are putting on a concert next week at the UAW. Four local bands (all from Lockport) for just $5. Show starts at 7 p.m. and goes til … 11? There will be cheap beer and pizza. Maybe cheap women if you’re lucky. Maybe cheap women who buy you beer and pizza if you’re REALLY REALLY lucky.

That’s all part of my new side project which I’ve been somewhat secretive about. I’ll spill some of the beans. Can’t spill all of ’em. Not here. You want to know the rest? email me. I might tell ya. 🙂

Anyway, I’ve been working with local bands for “The Interview” and now for this concert that Joe and I are doing – (we want to do one a month, BTW, so expect another in May).- and I’m working on a website that allows me to promote bands, both with booking and PR, etc.

Western New York has such a great music scene and I love music. I just want to get involved. As such All WNY Music was born. A website and more details will be forthcoming. But for now, enjoy the concert and the interviews on WLVL.

Looking for a band to play a party? a picnic? a barbeque? You name it, I can find it for you. Want more details? Let me know. I’ll work the network.

Other than that, not much going on … oh … except.

I got a friggin’ speeding ticket last night. 62 in a 40. Ouch. I think I’m going to plead not guilty and go for a reduction. Any advice? I have until April 14th to decide. 62 in a 40. On New Road in Amherst. There’s NOTHING THERE!!! Why is the speed limit 40 miles per hour?

One more thing real quick. Went to the dentist yesterday. It’s a new dentist so I had to fill out medical paperwork. It was asking about medication that people take … do you take … aspirin … muscle relaxants … inhaler … alcohol or cocaine … errrr, what? Alcohol or cocaine. That’s one question. So I had to say yes. But I felt real dirty doing it. Why the hell would alcohol and cocaine be one question? Weird. The dentist said that’s just the way the form is. And everyone asks why it’s worded as such.

Alright. I’m out. Later.
