Many people wondered (and asked aloud) when Congress voted to spend $700 Billion to buy bad loans from banks, “Where’s mine?”
Well the answer is, it may be coming soon.
The Bush Administration today is said to be “warming” to the idea of another round of “economic stimulus” checks for Americans.
I don’t understand the concept, really. Why spend money we don’t have and will have to borrow from China, creating further debt for ourselves later? But hey, I’m just a mere taxpayer. What the hell do I know.
Instead of bailing out AIG why didn’t the government give the money to the taxpayers? Talk about stimulating the economy!
