The office where I work is building a new building behind the current building. So right now, the back lot of the office is basically a construction site. I’m not sure why but I know that construction sites have a tendency to draw critters.
Well, late last night (or early this morning, depending on your perspective), I was standing outside enjoying the warm weather and taking a break from work when out of the corner of my eye, I see something walking across the back lot. It takes me a couple seconds to realize that the “something” was a rather large coyote.
At this point, I’m probably about 20 feet from the entrance door to the office. And I decide I’d prefer to be a little closer. So I start slowly walking towards the door. My movement, of course, caught Mr. Coyote’s eye. And so he’s watching me walk towards the door.
Once I reach the door, I decide that I’m just going to stand there and watch the coyote. And he decides that he’s going to creep up to get a closer look at me.
Well, long story short, I noped the hell out of there and went inside where it’s a coyote-free zone.
The photo above is of Mr. Coyote staring me down.
Never a dull moment in beautiful Niagara Falls, New York.
