Today’s show was essentially a bust. If I don’t get better soon, I’m going to have to find a new line of work. Honestly, I probably shouldn’t be doing what I am doing – but it’s my job and who the hell else is going to do it?
One good thing today is that I got out there that we ARE going to save Winter Fun Fest. Just cause the city dropped the ball doesn’t prevent us from picking it up. From what I have gathered so far, my man Joe Speer has had a meeting of the minds with Tony Nemi and the two of them have started planning things out for Winter Fun Fest 2006. I’m meeting with the two of them on Thursday to see how I can best help.
PC Tony offered some autographs and collectables as a means to help get the ball rolling. I’m going to put Tony in touch with Joe. Should be good.
Off-air a caller said she had a cure for me. 1/4 cup of milk and a teaspoon of my favorite hot sauce. Drink it thrice daily. It’ll fix me up. Sounds yummy.
Once a year someone from WLVL has to go on LCTV to discuss our programming, etc. This year that someone is me. Sounds like fun. It’s later this month. Can’t wait.
I’m getting some more older shows on the podcast. Working on September 2004 right now. Eventually, I’ll be all the way back to the beginning.
